A military spouse's take on blooming where you are planted. I continue to pretend I am living on my dream farm while in reality, I live on a military base, gardening in a plot alongside a Navy flightline, with half of my homesteading supplies perpetually packed in boxes and have a habit of being overly involved in every community we live in. I'm a busy mom to 2 boys and a spouse to a Navy sailor soon nearing retirement. I love this chaotic life wouldn't trade it for anything!

note to self?
Spotted today while cleaning the kids' room...
Apparently Loch made himself a "Notes" board, below
There was one note taped on it...
p.s. hey Loch, I bet Finn doesn't like you, either!
And what would be the point of a note like that if you didn't share a room? He's a sly one!
I found a family photo on Tanner's bulletin board with all of our little faces (except for his) poked through with thumbtack holes! I found it a bit disturbing at first, but then I replaced it with the same photo, sans holes. Don't know if he ever noticed, but, so far, it's unmarred. Hah!
It's the same here... Some days the girls get along great, other days they post notes on their door for the other one to stay out... I keep all their little love/hate notes - they'll be fun to look at when they are older. ;-)
Too funny. My oldest tell us to "throw that in the trash" when he doesn't like something/someone. So his little brother gets told to get thrown away a bit....
And so it begins. ;)
ReplyDeleteHow funny is that. Sounds like my daughters when they were young, and my sisters and myself a few years back!
ReplyDeletePrecious. Should be saved for them both to see when they're . . . oh, say, 26 and 28!
ReplyDeleteWell you have to write these things down or you could forget in an hour that you do not like your Brother:)
ReplyDeleteThe joy of having a sibling! LOL!
ReplyDeleteToo darn cute! I remember writing that I didn't like my Mom. Dad found it and made me write "I love my Mom" 20 times.
ReplyDeleteWish that had been kept! You should make this one a keeper as well!
That's so cute!! I think that we all have felt that way about a sibling at one time or another.
ReplyDeleteAwwww...sibling love at it's finest!

That is definitely a keeper! It brought back all kinds of memories - my poor sister....
ReplyDeleteThat has had me giggling the whole day! I left it up, it's kind of cute and I know Finn can hold his own in there LOL.
ReplyDeleteMelissa, LMAO!!
Ha! They are so darn cute.
ReplyDeleteDo you ever listen in on them at bedtime. I bet they have some wild conversations! Save that note!!!
Too cute! Ah, sibling love.....

Hahahaha! That is so cute! I also love his Universe drawing, and that it the board is on an aircraft carrier!

Hahahaha! Loch made me laugh out loud! I love it! :)
ReplyDeleteLOL! And so the sibling rivalry begins. As long as there are no visible scars, I don't think you should worry.
