I so wanted to post today! I really need to put some things into writing to get them down in black and white so I can organize my thoughts... once again, no time. Kids are home from school, need dinner, then need to go to a friend's house for an hour or so, Finn was very sick a month ago the day of his "bestest girlfriend's" birthday and couldn't make it, so we are going over there so he can see her and give her his gift!
I have gotten nothing done in the knitting department.
I have a feeling I will get on that tonight after the kids go to bed. Who knows? If I have enough wine I may make it back to the computer late tonight and write an unintelligible post - just kidding! I have been so tired I think more than one glass is too much obviously because I just plain fall asleep!
Thanks to all of you who are so good at updating, you are bright spots in my days that have been filled with too much stress and anxiety lately!
Oh, I think a drunken post would be just the ticket! We need some humor as Christmas nears.
ReplyDeleteAnyway, hope you get some YOU time. Don't over-do!!
I'd be careful of the drunken post. My SIL has been known to do that...not pretty! And, it's funny, she slurs when she types!
ReplyDeleteWell, all I can say is "'Tis the season!" . . . for stress and anxiety! I was so ugly this morning that I SHOULD have started drinking about 10 a.m. I owe my dear husband an apology for my rotten-ness, but I swear sometimes the brain chemicals just go down the wrong channel and I have no control over anything! (That's my excuse and I'm sticking to it.) Good sleep seems to be elusive in this house, too. Hang in there, friend.
ReplyDeleteWell while most of us are just getting ready for Christmas, you my dear, are getting ready for a MAJOR homecoming. So you are hereby excused, pardoned and forgiven.
ReplyDeleteWe love you regardless!
Breathe, breathe, breathe.
ReplyDeleteAnd knit. Spend some time on the Rav and you'll get very little done. . .
No knitting here, but I just sewed 12 keychains and I'm taking a break to go read my nook. I've been so tied up recently there's hardly time for reading and books are calling my name. I just love my nook!
ReplyDeleteOh boy, I know how you feel (the too much to do not enough time). I'm frantically trying to get Christmas cookies done so I can give them out. Now our propane tank isn't working right and I had to bake them in the toaster oven today! Nothing seems to go right when you most need it to!
ReplyDeleteTake a deep breath Erin! And relax. It's too cold to be running wild!
ReplyDeleteI say put in a movie and keep drinking.
Hugs to you. I'm tired too.... Too bad we're so far apart- I'd like to share a glass of wine (or is that whine) with you.
