I am hosting my annual "Seed Swap" Party this evening and I thought I would take a break from prepping to "virtually" invite you all over to our suburban homestead this evening for a night of seeds, seedlings, campfire in the garden, food & cocktails! While I know that it physically impossible for you to be here, know that if it was possible - all of you who regularly visit me would be first on my list! 6:00 pm... :)
p.s. there may be camoflauge, bb guns, and garden varmint fun late in the evening!
I hope to update you with photos tomorrow if things don't get out of hand, LOL! Some of these gardener types can get a little nuts if the moon is right...
Thank your for the "virtual" invite. It's now 7:05 your time so I'm assuming the party is in full swing. Just as well the invitation was only virtual as at the moment I'm pretty dirty and stinky from working on wood all day! But I truly-duly do wish I could be there. (After a shower and a bit of spiffy up, of course.) Hope you crazy gardeners all have a blast!
ReplyDeleteWoo-hoo! Shall I dress for the occasion?
ReplyDeleteP.S. I may be a bit more tired than I thought. "Thank your" should obviously be "thank you" and "spiffy up" would read better as "spiffing up." I'm gonna go take a shower and go to bed now.
ReplyDeleteSounds like a lot of fun.
ReplyDeleteI'm raising my beverage to you! Tonight I had to chaperone Prom, so I just got home and have never needed a drink more.
ReplyDeleteHell yeah! Let's get our party freak on!!
ReplyDeleteSorry I missed the party! It was date night last night. I was thinking about all of you party animals and had an extra drink for all of you! Well....maybe two!
ReplyDeleteOh, a seed swap! I have lots of saved marigolds, cosmos and hollyhock seeds to share! Sounds like a good party. Hope you had a blast.
ReplyDeleteActually, we went to our favorite Irish pub and played darts last night. Good times with Guiness and cider. yummm.
Oh man, that sounds awesome. Count me in on the next one! :P I'm only now just catching up checking others' blogs... I'm so frikkin' behind!
ReplyDeleteBy the way, how are the ground cherries? My litchi tomatoes never came up, but the human error component in my garden is high. :|
