A military spouse's take on blooming where you are planted. I continue to pretend I am living on my dream farm while in reality, I live on a military base, gardening in a plot alongside a Navy flightline, with half of my homesteading supplies perpetually packed in boxes and have a habit of being overly involved in every community we live in. I'm a busy mom to 2 boys and a spouse to a Navy sailor soon nearing retirement. I love this chaotic life wouldn't trade it for anything!
Has me drooling, but daughter took my good muffin tins, and the ones I have now burn them every time. I do think I'll try it as a coffee cake though. Anything with that much butter and sugar has to be good. Even better served with big pats of cold butter on the hot muffin/cake.
Yum is right! I had to make 2 batches since the first we shared with the single dad next door, I think his kids were in a state of shock, they don't get too much homemade stuff LOL!
Gran, I bet this as a coffee cake would be wonderful!
Those look SO GOOD!! I might have to break into the blueberries for those! You know, with how hard it is to come by those berries, the recipe had to be worthy!!
How nice that you shared the blueberry muffins with your neighbors. I'm sure they really loved it. You pulled out all your strawberry plants!! LOL. Wow! And here I am cheering on my plants that have been sending out their runners. I'm like go runner go. People tell me that strawberries are like weeds. They multiply like crazy!
I finally got your garlicky dill refrigerator pickles made today. Can hardly wait the whole week before trying them!
ReplyDeleteOooh, this looks Ah-mazing. Thanks for posting the recipe.
