A military spouse's take on blooming where you are planted. I continue to pretend I am living on my dream farm while in reality, I live on a military base, gardening in a plot alongside a Navy flightline, with half of my homesteading supplies perpetually packed in boxes and have a habit of being overly involved in every community we live in. I'm a busy mom to 2 boys and a spouse to a Navy sailor soon nearing retirement. I love this chaotic life wouldn't trade it for anything!

Here we go again... another Nor'easter expected in this afternoon to dump copious amounts of rain and snow on our area! I know there are alot of you dealing with the same weather system headed my way, I hope your garden braves the storm well. I will be busy this afternoon tying down the entire yard with 550 cord so we don't blow away, so in lieu of a seedling update, I leave you with this inspirational photo from last Spring:

Yes, spring has to be there soon. I'd love to see your trussed yard.

Ribbit, lol... I just saw your comment on another blog about your dog looking outside... is it SNOWING again there? LOL what the hay?!!
ReplyDeleteHopefully this well be the end of it! Tomorrow will not be a pretty day for us.
ReplyDeleteI love this picture of your seedlings hardening off...a sure sign of things to come this spring!
Let's hope it is the last one for you. Your deck looks so sunny with your seedlings it is hard to believe you are still in bad weather. I loved your last post about the cable, we will all be watching tv on the internet soon. It was great to hear your voice too. Stay warm, peace
