what is THIS?

Just when I thought I should probably get out there and plant something...

It's coming down hard, too!

Just finished loading the video and in the 4 minutes that took, the dog's tracks are already covered up out there.  I'm sure it will be gone by sunrise- for tonight though, it feels perfect for reading a good book!

  1. I give up! Here we sit at 13 degrees, the wind is trying to blow us off the map, but nary a speck of snow. The whole top half of my huge garden area is bare . . . dead grass showing all over. Raised garden beds totally exposed to the elements. Arrrrgh. You don't really need the snow in Virgina. Please send it north where it belongs. Thanks.

  2. It's pretty cool, it's "thunder-snowing", I've only seen that a handful of times. The flakes are like the size of dimes! I'm keeping this snow LOL!

  3. How cute! My little sissies are afraid of the snow and rain. It was drizzly and in the low fifties here today, I set all my seedlings out in the rain for the day.

  4. Awww, what cuties your pups are. Glad you have the snow and not us. I'm quite happy having to drive to see the stuff. It's supposed to be raining here tomorrow, though. Maybe it won't be too much and we can still burn out in the trees. Lots to do, as always.

  5. LOL! Looks like Sprocket likes the snow. I can't believe it's thundering too. Now that would be amazing weather to see and hear.

  6. That's almost as much snow as we've had all winter. We're forecast for some snow on Monday but I'm sure it won't be thundersnow. How cool is that.

  7. Wow, we've been so warm here in northern Indiana that I was out chopping weeds Wednesday, to get ready to plant peas. Now we have 5" of snow. Aaaack! Got the seeds all ready, the plan drawn, and it's two months to last frost date. Gotta find another hobby to keep me busy until then.

  8. We got a good five and another inch coming today. I was just thinking that normally I am so sick of winter by February I can not stand it. But this year I thrilled to see some snow. I feel like it is just December.
