It's done!
Susan at e-i-e-i-omg! challenged us to an apron sew-off and it was just what I needed to snap out of my blogging laziness the past month and get back into the swing of things. Thanks, Susan! Head over to her blog later today when she will link up all the participants to check out all the aprons!
Finnegan said it looks like I'm getting x-rays at the dentist -
whatever, who asked him?!
Finnegan gets brussels sprouts and spinach for supper!

ReplyDeleteThe apron turned out great! I don't know what you were worrying about!! I think you look just Ducky!!
ReplyDeleteLooks fabulous! Definitely NOT dentist material...
ReplyDeleteJudy
I think it turned out great! Bright and cheery and a great pattern.
ReplyDeleteHaha....Finnigan, Finnigan :-) I think it looks great!
ReplyDeleteIs this your very first apron?? If so, you get an A++. You must be happy with it 'cause I see you're doing a happy dance for the picture!
ReplyDeleteP.S. Your dentist must have a lot classier X-ray body shields than mine does.
P.P.S. You're still wearing flip-flops? Heck, we're wearing Sorels now . . . inside.
Love it! Looks wonderful, not at all dentisty. And dont knock those lead aprons. Do you know how great those would be when you need to capture a crazy chicken?
ReplyDeleteVery nice. I love the bright colors.
ReplyDeleteI like the kinds that have lots of coverage. As the cook who sloshed spaghetti sauce in her sweatpants pocket last night, I would have loved that apron!
ReplyDeleteAnd just for the record, I don't think of you as "lazy."
Cute, cute! Just "Ducky" indeed! Good Job. and never lazy. Happy Thanksgiving to you and your wonderful family.
ReplyDeleteErin, that is absolutely the cutest! If only anything at the dentist office was as cute as that, I'd maybe want to go there. :)
ReplyDeleteIt looks so great, good job! Happy Thanksgiving.
ReplyDeleteMan, did I really screw up on picking a pattern....yours looks wonderful, without all the ruffle crud I had to go through! Gott'a love a chicken apron!
ReplyDeleteI just LOVE your material!! Don't listen to Finnegan, it turned out great! This has been fun seeing what everyone came up with! :)
ReplyDeletehahaha....awesome, Erin!
ReplyDeleteOooooh, thanks y'all! This was too much fun! Loved seeing everyone's aprons but the crowning moment has to be when I saw Susan's..... that was hours ago and I still start giggling to myself just thinking about it LOL!
ReplyDeleteAnd oh, I had to agree with Finn when he said "dentist"... I couldn't quite put my finger on it when i looked in the mirror but the 6 year old hit the nail on the head!
ReplyDelete(Lets see if this comment goes through today, I have been having serious trouble with blogger.....)
ReplyDeleteLove the apron, very retro!!
