Vertical Gardening

How cool is this? Would be a fantastic backdrop for the outdoor dining area & dinner parties!

  1. Oh it's gorgeous! I can't get over her yields the way she has stuff crammed in there, I must go investigate.

  2. Climbing Spinach? Is that a misprint or am I just unaware of this new marvel?

  3. It's called "Malabar Spinach", it's not a true spinach, but the leaves taste the same, can climb all over fences, etc, loves the heat and I learned in MG class that it won't bolt here in our climate! Needless to say, I ordered it this year! I am excited to grow it, since spinach is really hard to grow here, gets warm too quickly in the spring. Look it up, it's really pretty with red stems!

  4. I love that idea! I should learn more about how vertical gardening in general works - not to this extent of course, but I'd like to try a small bit of it, given that I'm gardening in a somewhat limited space.... Practical and beautiful.... wow. I want to try this Malabar Spinach idea too :-)
